Times likes these it’s always nice to make a new friend. I’m not talking about an actual person, I’m referring to a bicycle. Not just any bicycle an e-bike! E-bikes seem to be taking the nation by storm lately. Every time I start checking them out a new one or brand seems to pop up. How can you tell the difference? How can you tell the quality? Well, it’s all about the origins and thoughtfulness that goes into it. I have not even seen this bike in person yet but I am excited for it.

There website says a couple things about them that I like. It’s a father daughter team, I have daughters and we love riding bikes together, so I get it. This also means it’s a family run business, that tells me they are going to care about customer service and quality. They are also based in the USA, another big plus. That means if something breaks your not waiting for parts to come from another country. You could also find a place to service it.
In terms of the bikes themselves, they are claiming to have some of the best components around. This e-bike is boasting a powerful 750W Bafang motor powered by a 48V 10.5 battery and fitted with Shimano gears. To me that all sounds like a recipe for success. It’s teetering on the edge of max speed you can get away with in the USA, without having to register it as a moped. You should be able to take this bike wherever your needs require.
The company is in pre-sale now and seems to be at the perfect price-point in comparison with it’s competition. The leader right now seems to be another company called Lectric. They also make a very worthy bicycle. However, that foldable bike does not have any dedicated suspension, meaning you have to rely on the tires. It’s motor also comes in a little smaller at 500W.
That being said I for one am looking forward to meeting our new Friend on the block.
